THIS COIN IS APPROXIMATELY 10 MM DIA
Coins have been found throughout Madurai with "Sri Vee Ra" written on the Reverse with a variety of different images on the Obverse. These coins are all mostly copper with some found in brass. Over 100 varieties are known with some being very common and some being extremely rare. The coins date between 1529 - 1732 ADbelonging to the Madurai Nayaks.
